BAR & BAT MITZVAH
PARTY PLANNERS
Mesmerising moments – lasting memories
Exceptional audio and video are pivotal in crafting an unforgettable experience for bar and bat mitzvahs. Singing, dancing and speeches are an integral part of these celebrations, so getting the sound right is essential. Our meticulous attention to detail honours the significance of the occasion and encapsulates the joy, tradition and communal spirit of the party.
We work for party planners as part of their team, handling all the audio and video requirements and working closely with other contractors on site. And we always enter into the spirit of the occasion, which we think is important.
We can handle all artist liaison and deal with A-list acts on a regular basis. We can talk with their production and tour managers about the band requirements to give them confidence that their artists are in safe hands.
TREASURED MEMORIES
THE DORCHESTER
Top of the list for high-end bar and bat mitzvahs is The Dorchester, which has been one of London’s premier event venues since 1931.
The hotel has eight different spaces and we’ve worked in all of them. It prides itself on ‘creating occasions that become treasured memories’, which is exactly what we do too.
The Dorchester has become a particularly popular venue for bar and bat mitzvahs because it offers superb Kosher catering – probably the best and most celebrated in the UK and Europe.
BEAUTIFUL SPACES
SUNBEAM STUDIOS
The Sunbeam Studios building was the first purpose-built car factory and showroom in the UK. The building opened in 1903 as the Talbot Works and is now a Grade II listed building.
In 2019 it was transformed into a unique and beautiful event space comprising three photographic studios that make it a wonderful setting for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.
Rossco has a special connection with the venue as we were brought in as acoustic consultants as part of this project. There are three studios in the complex and they all now sound beautiful.
We’ve contributed audio and video production as part of the event team for several parties here.
PRESTIGIOUS
THE BERKELEY HOTEL
We did our first ever big event at this classic hotel in Knightsbridge, shortly after setting up Rossco in 1997. Since then, we’ve been involved in countless bar mitzvahs at the hotel.
We know the venue and the staff well, and always feel at home here. It’s a setting where we find it particularly easy to dress the part and involve ourselves in the spirit of the event.
BIG IS BEAUTIFUL
PARK ROYAL STUDIOS
This is a vast film studio complex with six massive, interconnected event spaces, the largest of which is 6,500 square feet.
Being a film studio, Park Royal is built for sound and video installation. We can fly any speakers from anywhere on the ceiling with no weight limit; there are no limitations on power and the party can be as loud as you want it to be and go on for as long as you like. Which is fine by us.
It’s perfect for multi-room themed parties where the client can let their imagination run wild and create rich immersive experiences. One bar mitzvah for which we provided all the sound and video had an enchanted forest in one studio, a fairground in the next and a large authentic Japanese restaurant in another. Each space had different sound and vision requirements but they were all linked together.
We've worked at a number of other large film studios, including Black Island, Elstree, Pinewood, The Tank Factory and Millenium, always for event production companies or bar mitzvah party planners.
MAJESTIC SETTINGS
STATELY HOMES
We’ve worked at many of the UK’s stately homes, including Banqueting House, Blenheim Palace, Burghley House, Castle Howard, Chatsworth House, Hampton Court Palace, Highclere Castle, Hillsborough Castle, Kensington Palace, Kew Gardens, Leeds Castle, Longleat House, Syon Park, Waddesdon Manor, Windsor Castle and Wrotham Park.
We know them all and understand their idiosyncrasies and limitations from an audio perspective. We have utmost respect for the buildings, the artifacts within them, the house rules, and the people who live there.
These buildings were rarely designed with good acoustics in mind. Challenges we’ve addressed include:
- At Castle Howard: turning a hallway with a 70 foot ceiling into a club
- At Longleat: stopping windows rattling at certain frequencies
- At Syon Park: soundproofing a marquee in the grounds, so it could be a nightclub until 4am.
We’d like to help you transform your events into unforgettable experiences.
