Whatever the event – wedding, bar mitzvah, party or whatever, we’ve worked at many of the UK’s stately homes, including Banqueting House, Blenheim Palace, Burghley House, Castle Howard, Chatsworth House, Hampton Court Palace, Highclere Castle, Hillsborough Castle, Kensington Palace, The Tower of London, Kew Gardens, Leeds Castle, Longleat House, Syon Park, Waddesdon Manor, Windsor Castle and Wrotham Park.
We know them all and understand their idiosyncrasies and limitations from an audio perspective. We have utmost respect for the buildings, the artifacts within them, the house rules, and the people who live there.
These buildings were rarely designed with good acoustics in mind. Challenges we’ve addressed include:
At Castle Howard: turning a hallway with a 70 foot ceiling into a club
At Longleat: stopping windows rattling at certain frequencies
At Syon Park: soundproofing a marquee in the grounds, so it could be a nightclub until 4am.
If you’re planning an event at a stately home and need audio, video or acoustic services, drop me a line.
